Who I am

Iain Hope Counselling is a private counselling practice operated by Iain Hope, MBACP. Contact: iain@iainhopetherapy.com

What information I collect

When you use the contact form or email me directly, I collect your name, email address, and any information you choose to share in your message. If we work together, I will keep brief session notes as required by my professional obligations as a BACP registered member.

How I use your information

Your information is used only to respond to your enquiry and, if we work together, to provide counselling services. I do not share your personal information with any third party, except where I am legally required to do so.

How I store your information

Enquiry information is stored securely in my email account. Session notes are stored securely and separately from your contact details. I retain session notes for seven years following the end of our work together, in line with BACP guidance.

Your rights
